We are a band that plays high-energy music with a style and passion, which over the past few years has developed into our own inimitable sound. Having regularly played in various bands and sessions over the past 13 years or so, we decided to get together in 1999 to write and arrange our own material. Our present set (drawing on many influences from around the world) has a good ‘rootsy’ feel about it, which sits well with our more contemporary songs & tunes
Based in Gwynedd, N. Wales, we have played extensively in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire, Northants & Derbyshire. In the recent past we have played several festival dates including- the Bretforton beer festival near Evesham, the Gwyl y Gwyniad festival in Bala, Powys, Barmouth music festival, Gwynedd, Raunds Festival in Northants, and for the past two years The Wheaton Aston Festival in South Staffordshire. Last year also took us to Kent for the first time to play four slots at one of the biggest and most established folk festivals in the South of England- ‘The Broadstairs Folk Festival’ –to which we will be returning again this year to perform on the final weekend of this prestigious festival
The borders around Wales & England remain our regular stomping ground (both sides), and while we are repeatedly asked back to the live music venues here, we hope to make more frequent forays into these & other regions.
We are constantly adding new songs to our set to provide further interest to our regular audiences, and feel we almost have enough tried & tested material to hopefully release an additional C.D. sometime soon
