Ray Fredricks and The Country Express Band

Ray Fredricks was born at an early age in Lawrence, Massachusetts, (March 5th 1953 to be exact.)
At the age of 9 Ray's dad paid for guitar lessons for him at $2.50 for half an hour.  Ray had always idolized his guitar playing Dad and two uncles and wanted to emulate them.  By the time he was 11, he played his first professional engagement with school friends at his Grammar School Dances and they were paid the princely sum of $10 each.
From 1970, Ray sang with many Country bands until forming his own band "The Country Express Band" in 1984.  22 years down the road, Ray and the band are still entertaining folk in the New England area.  In furthering his love for good music, Ray has also branched into Internet Radio as a Country music DJ at www.originalcountryradio.com
